Moral Values
The story thought me that nobody’s perfect, we should learn how to forgive others. Forgiving others are easier to tell rather than to do, What people have done to us will always leave a mark on our mind especially in our hearts. Forgiving someone means that your mature enough to give them a chance to change, we all deserve chances. We should learn how to accept and love the one who makes a mistake or sin to us. All of us makes mistakes and everyone deserves to be forgiven.
IMPACT TO ME AS 21ST CENTURY LEARNER
The impact of the short story “Sinigang” to me as a 21st century learner is it taught me different things and shows me new perspectives and point of view to every situation, especially in family. And Also it tell us that life is not easy and not always a happy ending unlike what we see in movies or series there’s a happy ending and life is full of obstacles, especially when it’s about our family. The story also tell us that “mistake” is something that happens accidentally and “lying is a choice”. It made me realize that we made a lot of mistakes and we lie to our love one’s at the same time, and we just do that because we know that it’s the right thing to do but no it just make the situation worst. And all of us are just humans we all make mistakes and it’s for us to learn and grow, it may took a lot of courage to accept an apology but it will all be worth it in the end and lastly no matter what happens Love and Peace will and will always prevail.
